Inspired by a post from Sew like my Mom, I decided to create my daughter a shirred dress made from recycled shirt. It is actually in time for the Halloween because the shirt I had is an orange one. I actually bought the shirt from a thrift store at 3 for 100 pesos in my country or at more or less $1 each.
I then bought a spool of elastic thread and followed the instructions and tutorials from Sew like my Mom and my
daughter now have a dress for the Halloween that she immediately used in our annual trick or treat activity and I am planning of using it on
her birthday on November 2, which we will be having a pumpkin themed mini
kiddie birthday party.
